The Mutual has a range of Business Accounts that can suit most businesses needs, including DIY Super. 

Internet Saver - Business

Interest Rate
Over $5,000 - (maximum $1,000,000) 1.25% pa
Interest is calculated by applying the daily percentage rate applicable to the daily balance as set out to the entire balance and paid on the last day of every month.*

 

Business Maximiser Account

Interest Rate
Up to $10,000 0.00% pa
$10,000 and over 0.50% pa
$20,000 and over 0.50% pa
$50,000 and over 0.50% pa
$100,000 and over 0.75% pa
$500,000 and over 1.00% pa
$1,000,000 and over 1.00% pa
Interest is calculated by applying the daily percentage rate applicable to the daily balance as set out to the entire balance and paid 3 monthly on 31st March, 30th June, 30th September and 31st December.*

 

Business Cheque Account

Up to $2,000 0.00% pa
Over $2,000 to $5,000 0.00% pa
Over $5,000 to $20,000 0.01% pa
Over $20,000 to $50,000 0.05% pa
Over $50,000 0.10% pa
Interest is calculated by applying the daily percentage rate to the different portions of the daily balance as set out and paid 6 monthly on 30 June and 31 December.*

 

Real Estate Trust Account

Interest Rate
Over $1 1.351
Offered to licensed agents holding client funds pending settlement of purchases and depositing of rental monies by tenants.*

Solicitors Trust Account

Interest Rate
Over $1 1.10% pa2
Offered to solicitors for holding client payments relating to property, conveyancing, estate settlements, investment and other trust monies.*

Business Account interest rates are effective as at 19 July 2017.

The daily percentage rate is the applicable annual percentage rate divided by 365.
* Penalty Interest will be charged at a rate of 20.00% per annum on overdrawn savings accounts. This penalty interest will be calculated daily and charged on a monthly basis.
1 No interest is credited to your account. However, interest earned on your account is paid to the Office of Fair Trading monthly after the close of business at the end of the month as required by the Property, Stock & Business Agents Act, 2002.
2 No interest is credited to your account. However, interest earned on your account is paid to the Public Purpose Fund monthly after the close of business at the end of the month as required by the Legal Profession Act, 2004.
