Money Talks

Money Talks is a program for high school students in years 9 to 12, providing them with an opportunity to engage with industry leaders to discuss a range of financial literacy topics. Staff and management from The Mutual are proud to have been involved in the development of the program, in conjunction with Hunter Valley Youth Express.

Budgeting Credit Cards Getting a loan
Opening a bank account Superannuation Mobile phones
Payment systems Internet banking Insurance

Careers Days and Mock Interviews

Careers Days

Careers Days provide students from the region with access to representatives from a variety of industries to gain valuable insights that help them choose the right career path.

The Mutual staff are always eager to get involved in these days to help educate students about career opportunities in the financial services sector.

Mock Interviews

This program teaches students valuable skills that are required when applying for a job. Students have the opportunity to present to an interview panel, be assessed on their interview skills and discuss their career path with a teacher.

Staff from The Mutual help facilitate the interviews and and provide students with feedback on their performance.
