The Mutual Bank’s Retirement Account recognised as one of Australia’s best
The Mutual Bank’s Retirement Account has again been recognised as one of the best in Australia, this time in the 2021 Mozo Experts Choice Awards.
Financial comparison site, Mozo, analysed 59 pensioner accounts within its major 2021 assessment of the Australian deposits landscape. Only those which offered fee-free daily banking for pensioners were considered in this award category.
Mozo banking expert and awards judge, Peter Marshall, said, “When it comes to day-to-day banking for over 55s, The Mutual Bank is a standout competitor.”
“With free transactions, no account keeping fees and competitive interest rates, The Mutual Bank’s Retirement Account could be a good choice for anyone looking to simultaneously manage their savings and spending,” Mr Marshall said.
CEO, Geoff Seccombe, said The Mutual Bank consistently receives accolades for a range of its deposit products, despite the historically low interest rate environment.
“Through our Retirement Account we look after our members over 55 by offering affordable everyday banking and competitive interest rates,” Mr Seccombe said.
“This award reflects the outstanding products and value that The Mutual Bank offers its members,” he said.
“Providing competitive products, exceptional service, and just generally looking after our members is what we do best.”
The Mozo Experts Choice Awards recognise Australia’s best value products to help Australians to save money by choosing better products. Mozo compares more than 1,800 products from 200 banking, insurance and energy providers to help thousands of Australians find a better deal each month via its award-winning comparison tools and calculators.
The Mutual Bank’s Retirement Account has a 5-star rating from Canstar, Australia’s largest financial comparison site (2020, 2019, 2018, 2017). The Mutual Bank also won a Gold Award for its 3-Year Term Deposit in the inaugural 2020 RateCity Term Deposit Awards.
