Raymond Terrace Public School and The Mutual are pleased to offer Bank@School.

What is Bank@School?

Bank@School is a financial literacy program that encourages students to learn about the importance of saving. Maitland Mutual Building society bank@school

How does it work?

A representative from The Mutual will visit Raymond Terrace Public School each Tuesday of the school term (excluding the first week of the school year). Collection of the passbooks from the locked deposit box located at the school office will be taken for processing and returned to Raymond Terrace Public School for distribution.  

Primary School Students

Students are invited to open a Mighty Mutuals account and receive their own fun passbook to help keep track of their savings.

To help kick start your child’s savings journey $10.00 will be deposited into your child’s account (maximum $10.00 per child).

 

How do I apply?

The Mutual has developed an On-line Application Form for adults over 18 years of age. This may also be used for your child, if you complete the employer details as follows:

  • Employer: Raymond Terrace Public School
  • Employer Address: Adelaide Street, Raymond Terrace NSW 2324
  • Occupation: Student

You will need to supply identification details for your child, which can be done using your child's:

  • Passport and Medicare details; OR
  • Medicare details and uploading a copy of your child's Birth Certificate.

Your child’s account will be opened and account details sent to your child in the mail.
