During this time of uncertainty, and as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we are committed to providing support for our members in the safest and most appropriate manner.

To proactively protect the health and safety of its team and members, and position resources to keep every other branch open for normal trading hours (except for those occasional lunch time closures when they are necessary) The Mutual Bank will be temporarily closing its branch at Stockland Glendale as of 30 March 2020.

The Mutual Bank ATM located at Glendale branch will remain in service.

Members will still be able to access in-branch banking facilities at the following branches:

  • 417 High Street, Maitland
  • 110 George Street, East Maitland
  • 24 William Street, Raymond Terrace
  • Shop 1 Rutherford Marketplace, Rutherford
  • 188 Dowling Street, Dungog
  • 230 Maitland Road, Mayfield

“The Mutual Bank’s first priority is always in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our members and our team. With this in mind we have taken the step of suspending the operation of Glendale branch as a precautionary measure. We will continue to assess the impact of this situation on our operations, and to take practical steps in line with the latest guidance from federal and state authorities,” said CEO Geoff Seccombe.

 “Please be assured The Mutual Bank has a thorough business continuity plan which enables us to continue to provide support to our members despite the ever-changing situation,” said Mr Seccombe.

Members can also access their money through The Mutual Bank’s24 hour banking options, including:

  • The Mutual App, which can be downloaded from the App Store
  • Internet Banking, accessed via themutual.com.au
  • Telephone Banking, available by calling 1300 657 523
  • ATM’s, cash can be withdrawn and funds transferred using a Mutual ATM

Transaction accounts with a linked Visa Debit Card can also be accessed at over 3,200 Australia Post outlets.
